Site selection:

Place the composter on a firm, level surface that will not collect water. Make sure the composter has direct contact with the ground to absorb the liquid.

Filling the composter:

• Empty your organic waste bin into the composter. If you use biodegradable bags, empty the waste from the bag and place the bag separately in the composter.
• Cover the waste with Biolan structural material, using approximately 1/3 to 1/2 the waste volume. Add more if the waste is particularly wet.
• Add waste several times a week, especially during the cold season, to maintain the composting process.

Adjusting the air supply and exhaust:

• Use the built-in thermometer to monitor the temperature.
• Set the air inlet valve to 100 if the temperature of the composter is higher than the outside temperature.
• During the warm season, keep the air intake valve fully open and during the cold season, close it quickly.

Mixing the compost:

• Use the compost mixer to mix the top 20-30 cm of the compost layer. Regular mixing is not necessary after each waste addition, but can be helpful if done regularly.

Emptying the composter:

• Empty the composter if it fills up quickly. In winter, empty small amounts at a time; in summer, you can empty up to half the contents.
• Open the discharge hatch and use a shovel to remove the compost. Clean the edges of the discharge hatch and the liquid separation plate.
• Press the compost down from above with the compost mixer, being careful not to damage the air duct.
