The patented raised bed cover is made of break-resistant, UV-treated plastic. In winter when temperatures are below zero, the raised bed cover is fully usable and proves to be beneficial for you Cold frame as perfect protection against cold and snow. However, it should be regularly cleared of snow on it so that 1. the plants underneath get sunlight, 2. the glass house effect is achieved and 3. the cover is not pushed into the interior of the raised bed due to excessive weight.
