The plate holder is a type of three-prong fork that is pressed or hammered into the soil to create an ideal storage device for the raised bed cover plates. The plate holder is very practical and convenient, especially in the transitional period when you keep the raised bed cover closed in the evening and overnight, but remove two covers during the day. The plate holder is best placed directly next to the raised bed and can be stored together with it in the summer when the cover is no longer needed. Usually only the straight plates go into the plate holder; the side elements are hung directly on the side of the raised bed.
